Well the tree is decorated!!

My words exactly — but over three weeks ago! We’re early tree people here.

The tree has been up since thanksgiving weekend but I couldn't get motivated to crawl into the crawl space do retrieve the ornaments until lastnight

I tried to close down the Post Office today - but they decided to stay open and deliver mail today.....that's how much power I have.

I had heard that today was a Federal Holiday - but the USPS is no longer a Federal Agency.

My prediction is that it will turn out well, DR Jrand68. Most things like this are a simple matter of following instructions. Good luck, and enjoy!

We got a White Christmas Eve.

Less than an inch of accumulation, which will probably disappear this afternoon. I should hoist my bloomin’ arse out of this recliner and take some photographic evidence.

Bed made, litter cleaned, second cup of coffee, so I must be on the mend.  Yesterday, in my drugged state, I left the deli turkey out after their noon treat.  I figured I'd let it stay at room
temperature, and the cats would finish it off last night.  At 8:00PM I couldn't find it.  I have no idea where it is, if I absent-mindedly tossed it with the garbage yesterday at some point, or if it's rotting away somewhere in the apartment.  Well, I'm off to market very shortly.

Um, my guess is they DID finish it off last night -- by jumping onto the counter.

Since there are only 5 of us, and it's my brothers birthday tomorrow, and my sister in laws  just passed and since the prices and the coupons at bjs made it affordable we are having  a very fancy dinner

I can't put up my Christmas tree until the final party. I take my little tree over for decoration.
