Well, you've read the notes, the notes were overovertired, and now it is time for you to post until the overovertired cows come home.

No...I think she just didn't understand that as the treasurer of two non-profits, I have records that need to be kept.  She just had the idea that my place was very cluttered and needed to be de-cluttered.

I was glad I could do laundry because I should not have worked out as I got sick on the tour this afternoon.  I think it was the combination of codein cough medicine combined with pills Keith has the help coughing do to straining in the throat which I have.  Add the excessive heat and humidity along with the fact mineral water, which doesn't agree with me, and I got rather sick and had to use the barf bag in my purse.  If the bus had been waiting for us I would have been able to sit, drink regular water and been ok.

Keitb says I am the reason we have not gone to Machu Picchu.

We have 2 days at sea.  I am already feeling better and hope with 2 days of these meds I will feel better.  I just won't take them at the same time again.

I never went to the L.A. zoo, either. Closest I ever got was biking past it on a long ride or two around Griffith Park.

A friend and I went to the San Diego Zoo one time. Took a train from Union Station for the day. Only time I ever did that, too.

So I was never really a zoo person...except I can be, more or less, with the right crowd. I have friends who are very much into zoos and aquariums, and a few hours spent with them can be fun.

I’ve been to the Bronx Zoo a few times over the years, and that’s pretty nice.

And I’ve talked about going to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. I’ve enjoyed getting to know that over the years, but frankly, it’s largely because of the original 70mm IMAX there, which tragically is going to be demolished later this year.

Well, that makes three consecutive posts concerning zoos, and all from me. How bizarre. I think we can all be grateful that I have little else to say on the subject.

I love museums, though. But I’m a terrible museum goer. (Should that be one word or two?) I so rarely get off of my ASS and do it.

Didn’t know about this Autry thing, but I see that it was “founded” in 1988, my last full year in L.A.
