I love anthology movies. I'll take 'em all.
ASYLUM is the one that brought me into the fold, in '72 or '73, my first year living in Hollywood. Unless my memory is seriously skewed, it was at the Pantages and I went back a couple of times. For some reason, I don't think I managed to catch the other Hammer and Amicus anthologies in theaters. Most of these were seen as I acquired home video releases.
It's been several years since I've indulged in any of them -- except for the TV movie TRILOGY OF TERROR which we just watched the other night in order to listen to the new commentary. Love it. Good or bad, movies like this one never fail to make me incredibly nostalgic for the 1970s.
I need to find a list, or make my own, of all anthology movies, both theatrical and TV.
