Growing up I was fond of Columbia and RCA for their cast albums and soundtracks. Also rans were Capitol and Decca. Later I discovered the bizarre Painted Smiles on trips to NYC

Re Kaye Ballard: When Kerry, Dennis, Sandra and I were in Palm Springs (a month before Kerry passed away), Kaye Ballard was at Jason Graae's concert. She was standing about ten feet away from us, and Kerry was very excited to get the chance to meet her.

I enjoyed her in the Julie Andrews version of Cinderella, where Kaye played the role of a stepsister.
