Vibes for DR ELMORE.

It is -5 degrees here right now.....forecast is for temps to rise to 16 degrees by 5 p.m. and then snow 4-5 inches over night.

BUT my car started this morning thanks to my new Interstate Battery.

Stay warm, my friend. That’s enough to make me move to Rio.

One of those eye tricks, but as I scrolled past Elmore's name on the small phone screen, my mind thought it said Smores.  Thought I'd share.

A good battery is important.  When we lived in New Jersey Keith had to put a towel over his battery on cold nights to keep it warm.

The same temp for Craig.  Bryan is -14 in Chicago.  And I am complaining at 29 degrees.

And still a balmy 70% tax rate for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,

but everyone knows that she knows in the Trump negotiating world, you have to demand 70% and nothing less to get 50%!

I've run my errands.  The trip to Petco was a bust.  For Christmas 2017 DR vixmom gave the cats a wonderful laser toy.  They havbe lost it, and I thought I'd get a new one at Petco, but they do not stock laser toys.  I did accomplish everything else.

Thursday afternoon greetings!

So, you may ask, what did Rob and I do at 9am on day 2 of the Polar Vortex?  We met several of my AAUW friends, some husbands, and another son at the storage place and we moved stuff from there into the 2019 book sale venue.  Yes, it was cold, but we were all bundled up and finished in just over an hour.  We have a great location this year.

And - drum roll, please - when we got home I administered Richard's LAST eye drops!  He’s been a great patient.

There is one building that houses a variety of tables and stands selling native goods from hats to necklaces.

One guy actually reached out and grabbed my shoulder.  I almost decked him, but thought better of it.

I found a couple of trinkets, plus there was a jade exchange where I found a pair of inexpensive jade earrings for Tracy.
