I finished my income tax this morning and filed it. It has already been accepted by the IRS. I am getting back about $300.00 more this year than last year.

Going through my mail from last week, the first envelope I opened was informing me that my rent is increasing by $130.00 starting April 1. And that is no April Fool's joke.

It's still snowing down here in Tumwater, too. It started last night. I got a text from work saying our building wasn't going to open until 10:00 am. Since I don't come in before 10:00 anyway, it didn't affect me. But we also got an e-mail not too long ago saying that they're going to close the building at 4:00 pm. That will affect me, but in a good way. I was going to leave early and use vacation time so that I could see The Choir of Man tonight, but now I don't have to use my vacation time! It's Emergency Leave, because the Admin. decided to close the building!

Tell me about it. Last year we mutually agreed to raise it $100.00, because they had kept the rent the same for several years after I became disabled. But I certainly didn't expect this increase.
