I'm nearly out of Vernors, too.

See, this is why one DRIVES to Cincinnati. You need to be able to load up a car with this stuff.  :)

T.O.D.

I was going to go to Redbox and rent A STAR IS BORN, but apparently it's not available yet.

Maybe I'll watch HARVEY.  That's always fun.

BK,

Perhaps I missed an earlier posting, but:

I don't quite understand what the issue is with your new book.

Walt Disney is dead.  He was a public figure.

You can't copyright a title.

In my THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS plays, I write about/dramatize many deceased public figures.  I've been doing it since the early 1980s.  I've even discussed the issue with lawyers.  They told me not to worry.

And, I've never had a problem.

Fingers crossed.

Sad. He was wonderful in so many films. My favorite was Shoot the Moon.

Here’s hoping BK’s  [title of book]  works out to everyone’s satisfaction!

Works for me  just like, [title of show].

Here's a title:  "What I Ate Last Night"

The last of the Cincinnati chili. It was a wistful moment when I opened the cupboard and saw that it would be bare once I removed the last can, which happened to be Gold Star. (I bring back equal amounts of Skyline and Gold Star.) I heated it up tenderly, lovingly, and it was thoroughly delicious. But it also makes great leftovers, and since I stopped at one plate last night, there's a serving in the fridge which will be today's lunch. And that's it until I get over there again in late spring / early summer.

Have you tried to purchase it online?

I guess stocking up in the car is better.

It does not mention "Two for the Road".  It is my favorite film of his, and Audry Hepburn.

Home from all stops.  The IRS confirmed receiving my return, Joshie and I got into Act Two of I Married an Angel, and I am home.  Both A & T seem happy that I'm here.

Tonight, my sister wants me to come over and help put up these little shelf units so that cats to climb up walls.  They're smaller than regular shelves, so they should be pretty easy to mount on the wall, and I don't think she has too many to put up.

Well, I guess I'll be going to my sister's a little early today.  We just got word that our building will close today at 3:00 pm!  I'll go to lunch at Eagan's (I always go to Eagan's on Fridays ;D ), then I can go to my sister's.

Oh, my. This is how our MD closed his last email to us:

I should also tell you that Waiters Galop is getting a complete re-write, so don’t bother looking at that one.

What in the HELL?

Is this legal?  Is Jerry Herman rewriting it?  Did he at least give permission??  Inquiring minds want to know!!

Before I step out I must call my HMO.  There's something fishy going on.  I mailed a payment on Jan. 19, and it's never cleared the bank.  I mailed a payment on Jan. 31, and that has not cleared either.  In the past I've seen payments clear three days after posting so what's going on?  I could blame the cold vortex for one of them but not for both!

A little better now that he has his pain medication.

Update:  the Admin decided to close our building at 2:00, instead of 3:00 pm.  So, I get an even earlier lunch.

Be back later!

This is supposed to be the small flurries before the major storm arrives at 4:00 p.m., but I can't imagine it getting heavier.
