Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a bash and a smash, and now it is time for you to post until the smashed, bashed cows come home.

Today is going to be a long day for me.  At work, I need to finish my monthly invoicing for the month, and work with one of my staff on writing out her specific job duties (our whole department is looking at ways to become more efficient), and then I have some orders that have been sitting around for a bit too long ( ::) ).

And then tonight after work, I have the first of two rescheduled rehearsals for the also rescheduled reading of a new musical where I am now playing a new role because the actor originally cast in that role wasn't available on the rescheduled performance date.  Then I get to come home.  Whew!

I must do the laundry I did not do yesterday.  That should take up most of the morning.

I've not heard from Joshie, so I will not be going into City Center this morning.

T.O.D.

Glenn Close was robbed!

Is she going to become the female Peter O'Toole?

It was strange but rather nice, not seeing even a moment (which, I am given to understand, is what it only takes) of the Oscars, and just reading the running commentary here. Later, or maybe even tomorrow, I will look for the highlights and enjoy them as the fuss is beginning to die down.

DR CHAS SMITH the Costume Design presentation by Melissa McCarthy and Brian ?? was also very funny.

Tina Faye, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolf were also funny at the very beginning....reminding everyone that they were there, but that they were NOT hosting....

Barbra Streisand talking about BlackkkKlansman also had some good things to say.

I guess the biggest surprise was Glenn Close not winning....

The only thing I didn't like was Spike Lee's completely unorganized thoughts that he couldn't even read off a piece of paper.....and his suit was ugly.

Monday morning greetings!  Well, we didn't blow away yesterday, but there were times we thought we would.  The high wind warning expired overnight and now it's beautifully sunny.

Thank you for letting me sit in on the Oscar bash, even though I didn't contribute much.  We're not seeing movies like we used to.  We usually wait until we can get the DVDs from the library.
