Well, you've read the notes, the notes were hung on the clothes line, and then put in the incinerator next to the naughty paperbacks, and now it is time for you to post until the hung up, burned out, naughty cows come home.

I think it’s time for a nap. Probably Benedryl residue.

I watched Safe a while ago.  While I enjoyed Michael C Hall's and some of the other's I felt the writing went off the rails in the last few, but I stuck with it until the end because at that point I really just wanted to see where it went.

Others  have told me they loved the ending but I wasn't a fan, I'll be interested to see what BK thinks

When I woke at 6:20, my lower left back was in so much pain I could not stand up straight.  I fed the cats, and went back to bed.  I think I might have a kidney stone in progress and that bothers me.

So, I may cancel my appearance at the afternoon dress rehearsal of I Married An Angel and - even worse - my plans to rescue Scooter from euthanasia if no one else does.  At the moment, I want to go back to bed and stay there until the pain goes away.

It was quite cold last night.  Annabelle parked herself on one side of me and stayed there until breakfast, while Thatch sporadically showed up to nestle in on the other side to nap and get warm before he ran off to look for roaches or play with his toys.

I remember bits of two dreams: a new musical called South Pacific opened and the Upper West Side was abuzz with excitement.  I remember "There Is Nothing Like A Dame," and, carrying Thatch, walking up Amsterdam Avenue from 79th Street to my apartment.  In the other, I was rehearsing Judy Kaye, accompanied by Billy Hicks, singing "The Legend of the Castle" from Babes In Toyland.  We were rehearsing in a studio in the middle of open country, and we could see a car driving up the road.  The driver was Jack Viertel and then I woke.

I had a Benadryl night, too, and am moving a bit slow because of it but man, it was what I needed.

I was about to say no dreams remembered, but I did wake up with some song from A Chorus Line ringing in my ears, which ordinarily would help lead me back to what the dream was. Oddly, I don't even know, now, which song! Maybe something will happen later today to bring it all back.

Back to Shrek today. I want to be able to play Keyboard 1 at least competently at an orchestra rehearsal on Thursday.

Annabelle and I made our patrol.  She was happy, adding a few new sounds - almost clucking - to her repertoire

I'm sore, but after playing in the halls with Annabelle, I don't think it's a kidney stone or whatever it was I went through in 2017.
