Today was Needle Day--acupuncture. After that I went to the salad bar. I wasn't able to guess the price of my salad bar items correctly, but I received $10 off because my stamp card was full. (Each time you spend $10 or more at the salad bar they stamp your card. When it's full you get $10 off.)

Congratulations to Rob and Mary Linda!

The house looks lovely. It looks just one story in the photo, but there's a second floor?

Jane, I don't have a recipe for balsamic dressing, but I may be looking for one soon, too. I had been looking for a good bottled dressing without canola oil, but canola oil is everywhere. I found a balsamic dressing from Walden Farms without canola oil--and very tasty--but now I notice is has an artificial sweetener in it. Sigh.

Thanks, DR Jeanne!  It’s a storey and a half - the upstairs is like a finished attic.  I’m hoping they’ll add a dormer on the back that contains a second bathroom.

Taco Del Mar also has a punch card, but they punch at every $5...except on Mondays when it's a DOUBLE-PUNCH for $5! :D

I only go on Mondays and try to get $10 worth, so I get four, count 'em, FOUR punches at once!  It's called workin' the system. ;)

Back from picking up one envelope, banking, and a vain attempt at lunch.  The traffic is so insane - at one-fifteen on a Friday Ventura Blvd. is JAMMED for no reason, the bank was JAMMED (I ended up at the ATM for the deposit), and it's just out of control.  Any chance of actually arriving at a food place of interest was done when I got to the major street near my house.  I just couldn't stand one more minute of it so home I came and I'm making wacky noodles because that's what I've got here and it's easy although a bit of a mess to clean up after.

Wait are you actually ask us to believe that the bank was jammed pack at lunch time on payday? I am shocked, shocked I tell you.

I haven't bought lunch since a December since I now come home for lunch every day

I was pleasantly surprised to see what a difference it made in my weekly budget

Too bad about the artificial sweetener.

DR Jeanne if you find a good bottled balsamic dressing, or a good recipe, please let me know.  I didn't even add seasoning.

Well, I'm off to usher for Young Frankenstein!  I hope it's good...but at least, I'm sure that I'll enjoy it. :)

Be back later.

I guess congratulations.

I would rather have won the lottery, even though I didn't buy a ticket.

Congrats!  Now you get to sit down with three of your closest friends...assuming you have three friends. ::)

I still have the second half of Woman in the Window to get through. The audio of Where the Crawdads Sing came in today.
