A topic for today:

In what kind of car did you take your test in order to get your driving license?

Mine was a 1964 Dodge four door sedan.....bucket seats and center console....automatic....copper color....power breaks but NO power steering....  It was four years old at the time....I was 17.

Chas - were there critics there?  They may rave about the added layers of meanings in the use of the panels.

Attn DR John G.:

This was a few years ago but, coincidentally, someone just posted it:

I keep forgetting that the "Did a cow --- in here?" spoof ad (about lingering odors) from "Kentucky Fried Movie" wasn't a real ad.

Don’t know, DR FJL, but this theater will get some “local reviews” and I shall watch for them.

After the show, he was the first cast member I tracked down.  I told him how wonderful his performance was, and that I had also enjoyed him in LITTLE SHOP.  And he stopped me right there and said, “And I saw you in IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE and I thought you were wonderful.”

Talented AND he has fantastic taste!   :D

Mutual respect for each other 😊

The cast party was a potluck, so I brought some caramel popcorn and cheese-flavored popcorn (actually mixed and packaged together), and some Taco Bell tacos, but I also had some chips and dip, various cheeses, and several things that I just can't remember.

The combination is popular these days.

It’s known as “Chicago” mix in a couple of packages I’ve seen. I’m not normally a fan of that kind of cheesey flavoring, but the combo is good.

I'm hoping to just stay at home tomorrow, to be able to do anything I have to do from here.  The practical jokes on April Fools Day makes it so hard to get any real work done.

At some point this past decade, people have just started to tell lies that have no humor to them, and seem totally plausible - and then say "April Fools."

Has anyone been to Athens?  DR Jane: I have a feeling you have.  I'm going there tomorrow night.  Any recommendations?

And that is totally annoying. I don't claim to have the imagination to come up with good April Fools jokes myself. I just wish all those others with similar lack of imagination would shut up and leave it to those who do.

I think this is going to be a McDonald's breakfast-in-the-car day.

No, wait. I'm sure of it!   :)
