TOD:
Hospital shows usually have too much gore for me, but I'm absolutely loving "New Amsterdam" these days. And I really liked "The Night Shift", which ran from 2014 to 2017. I've learned to just look away during the close-up surgery scenes.
Oh, and I really loved "Royal Pains". It was very different and clever and had a lot of humor in it. And there were hardly any parts where I had to look away.

Monday morning greetings!  Yesterday, I attended church with my friend Sharon at the Presbyterian church near our house.  Their guest preacher was a former minister whose daughter went all through elementary and junior high with Rob.  We thought a lot of the whole family and have missed them very much since they moved to Nashville 17 years ago.  After church Sharon and I met some of our AAUW friends for lunch and an outing to Cincinnati's Museum Center (Union Terminal) to tour the new Holocaust and Humanities Center.  It's a very interesting museum that links the history to local survivors and to the train station itself.  Our friend Cindy was our guide and did a good job.  Because the exhibits are very text-heavy, I'd like to go back sometime not in a group and without a guide.

Oh, darn, I forgot!  I was so wrapped up in basketball (Go, Spartans!) and then I fell asleep until it was almost time for NCIS:LA.

I forgot to ask George last evening what he thought of Carl-Magnus.  I didn't care for him, although he seems to have the talent for other roles in other shows.

This gentleman was rather stout, with a receding hair line.  In his bio he stated one of his favorite roles was that of Tony in WEST SIDE STORY.  I was curious in what century he might have played that part.

Thanks, DR elmore!   I was concerned when I heard about the problems the airlines were having this morning.  I'm taking United to Newark and that was one of the airlines mentioned.  The problem seems to be cleared up now.

I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.  I've been up since nine-thirty, but had to do a restart on the computer to do the new security update - there was one four days ago - so annoying.  So, that takes a while so I got back in bed.

Not a peep about the book order shipping, but I just called and am still being assured they're shipping today.  It's close to three o'clock their time right now.

Ha! As for Carl-Magnus, the appeal might lie in a description of, as Frederick puts it, the vegetable.

Hallelujah. Woman in the Window is finished. To me, not a twist in it that wasn’t telegraphed early.

Back from picking up a package, I have a tracking number on the book order shipment but no real proof that it's been picked up by UPS and will be here tomorrow, although I'm hoping for the best, and getting a Subway Club for lunch.
