MUSIC TO FEEL LOGY AND GROSS BY

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both logy and gross, and now it is time for you to post until the logy and gross cows come home.

I don't know why that image is so big in the notes.  Must go see if I can make it a bit smaller.

Resized it - much better, and if you click on it you get it at a bigger size.

I've been reading about the latest episode of The Orville.  Jane (and anyone else who watches it), this article talkes about the episode.  It's meant to be read after watching the episode, so don't read it you don't want to know every little detail about what happens. :)

jan, FJL coerced me to do a staged reading of The Last Starfighter a decade ago - I had fun, but I find it a bit nervewracking.  Thankfully I didn't have to learn anything, we held scripts.  I will say that since 2010 and doing Kritzerland and learning songs and patter for that, I don't think I would be so petrified these days.

I ended up with a season pass on Amazon for Fosse/Verdon.  So, I watched episode two - I wasn't that crazy about episode one, but this one really irritated me.  The writing is so lousy and I really don't like the structure of it - going back and forth and back and forth, and then this director everyone thinks is the greatest thing since who knows what starts with the awful cross-cutting ala All That Jazz to Fosse tapping on a stage to underscore the scene that's unfolding - it's cheap, off-putting, and adds zilch - in fact, I almost shut it off.  It's fun when they get the details right and it's also painfully obvious the way they have to shoot the numbers that neither Ms. Williams nor Mr. Rockwell are dancers - which is kind of an issue when the show is called Fosse/Verdon - two of the greatest dancers ever.  But Ms. Williams acts it very well and Mr. Rockwell certainly has the voice down but his bald cap is horrendous and even when Mr. Fosse was laconic and laid back there was an energy in the room  - whereas Mr. Rockewll is merely laconic and laid back with absolutely no energy at all.  In the end, for me, it's the writing and the direction that are not cutting it.  Just one man's opinion.  Let's hear some others.

My Social Security landed in my account this morning and I will shortly make the trek to Radio City to visit my barber.

This morning, for the first time in weeks, Annabelle ate chicken! I may not have to throw out 40 cans of Fancy Feast after all.

DR TCB, perhaps there is a local gay moving service you could hire for your move?

That’s a beautiful image in the notes, but I haven’t watched the movie in years. I need to take that murky looking DVD off the shelf and have a go at it.
