There is no question we just broke every record since this board has been in existence.  I do believe we had one Tony Awards night that just edged over six hundred posts, but I suspect we will beat that, too.

I am most certain that soon we will be the most popular site on all the Internet.

This show, although moving faster than it has in years, is putting me to sleep.  Salma Hayek?  This is who we get to present awards?  Where are the STARS?

I haven't heard one Vilanchism - unless he gave a couple to Robin Williams.

Yeah, you catch that "next four presenters" gag? It has the low-comedy stamp of Vilanch.

As for the "under three hour" possibility...

Maybe with no commercials...

And we still have a bunch of major awards left...

And the Death Roll to come...

And at least two other superfluous tributes/sketches/bits to go...

With all this mention of the Aviator winning awards can they win the most awards without winning Best Picture. I think Cabaret with 8 awards is the leader

Marc Shaiman did the writing for Robin Williams.  He actually wrote a song which was CUT on Friday.

Salma is a former Oscar nominee. I guess that's why she was invited.

Nope.  Only on one song, the rest is all Mr. Charles.

BK-
Cabrini Blvd. is in Washington Heights, period. I live right near it. Of course, real estate agents may be creating some new names, like Hudson Heights or some other garbage, because Washington Heights had a sordid past, but nobody's told me about any official name change.

Is this Antonio's way - or his agent and/or publicist's way - of saying, "Screw you, Sir Andrew!"

Is Prince still awake?

All those singers in the audience....it's like in BEACH BLANKET BINGO when Linda Evans had three solos (courtesy of Jackie Ward's voice) and Annette only had one!

The scuttlebutt is that Minnie Driver was supposed to sing one of the songs, but Beyonce made some demands and Minnie got the boot.
