I thought Don Cheadle looked at Mr Fox rather like Miss Winslet regarded Miss Swank when they headed toward the stage.

I don't think Foxx will ever find another role like Ray Charles.

If you've ever seen even a few minutes of his old sitcom, you'd know it is a miracle he's standing up there.

For you west coasters. I am curious to what ABC is going to air after the Oscars. I know that you will get the 1 hour Barbwa WaWa special but what will air after that?

I thought Jamie Foxx was excellent, but not as good as Clint.  And that acceptance speech - ENOUGH with the race stuff.  And if you're going to be heartfelt and overemotional you'd better have at least a tear in your eye.

Is Jamie a little over-rehearsed? ? ? ? ? ? He's got that grandma story and the tears absolutley perfectly timed.

JRand, I never cared much for Jamie Foxx either, but he really did deserve this nomination...I haven't seen any of the other actor performances, so I can't really say if I think he deserved to win or not....but I am glad he did win...since he is the only one I did see on screen.

How about the sexism. Swank gets shoved off the stage, Fox gets all the time he needs. Hmmmm.

Ya, Jamie's speech...I don't know...

I love the Clint brings his mother. I have heard that he is one very nice man.
