Re the microwaving of the baked potato: I tried the five and five but it was just too much. I found another site with a different recommendation and that's what I tried and it worked perfectly. Four minutes, then turn over for another three-and-a-half. There IS a potato setting but I don't quite know how to punch it in - it's not just a button.

Instead, they put on this yo-yo professor from the University of Washington, who says, “Yes, any time you have a cluster of small quakes, it could mean we are ready for The Big One.”
