Other than that, I'll be back on Wednesday, and then on Monday start my summer employment.  A 5 week musical theatre conservatory program for grades 5-12.  In the morning I'll be doing a vocal workshop, where I will also include musical theatre history because these kids don't know anything about musical theatre before Wicked except for maybe Rent.  We'll start at Show Boat and work our way down the river  LOL - oh, and in the afternoon, we'll be working on a production of Footloose - one of my faves.

It sounds like an excellent summer project.

I'm up, I'm up - nine and a half hours of sleep.  I woke up before eleven but went right back to sleep until around one-twenty.  I didn't fall asleep until after four.

A friend working in Portland called last night and said she is in town.  We are expecting her soon.  The plan was for a nice walk & dinner.  Darn that rain.  We shall still have a nice time.  I just hope she is here soon and doesn't end of stuck in traffic.

Has anybody had a problem logging into any of their Amazon accounts (e.g. Amazon, ACX, Kindle) today?

On all three of my accounts, I was informed that my password, which I had not changed, was invalid.

I had to do a new password to get access.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I need to go to Costco for some things, then my sister wants me to come over for a little bit, then I'll get to go home.

Be back later.

Heads up!

I don’t know when this deal started, maybe just today, but newspapers.com is FREE — including for the premium papers — now through Sunday night.

Just tested it on one search. Wonderful! OMG, I need this. It is not very convenient on the iPad, but just let me at it starting tomorrow when I’m at my desk and I can really navigate through it. Hoo boy!

I asked if if she wanted to go with me to Home Depot to get a quote but she wanted to talk to my little brother ( the font of all knowledge....if I told her that breathing was a good idea she would check with him first before she took a breath)

So Monday she lets me know that she and my brother now agree that she needs a new opener (since it's probably about 35 years old) and that I should go get quotes

To be fair to my brother you should know he lives in Virginia so he's not exactly in a postion to do it himself

So I go to Home Depot and I get a very reasonable quote but instead of just handing over my credit card  I decide I must get a second quote from Lowes

Yesterday I decided just to go with a Home Depot's quote...just as I was walking in the door my mom calls and says I need you to come over, the door hit me and I can't stop bleeding

It turns out the doohickey that is supposed to hold the heavy glass and aluminum front storm door open failed as she was walking in the door and the latch hit her in the right forearm
