SHE LOVES ME had a fine opening night last night....the audience liked it a lot.

People certainly do like to throw popcorn on the floor.....and bring in their OWN BIG DRINK CUPS and then leave them under their seats.

Two people left at intermission.....goodbye.

Friday morning greetings!  I'm enjoying some time here at home before going to work at the AAUW garage sale this afternoon.

TOD - I don't have anything on tap for today, but yesterday I binge-watched the entire first season of DEAD TO ME on Netflix.

Congratulations!  Eighteen years was the most we ever had in a home.  I think it is wonderful you have been in the same home for so long.

We had a wonderful time with our high school friend, and one of my bridesmaids, last night.  It was a short but sweet visit.  We would have invited her to stay with us except Bryan & Kate will be here on Saturday.

Tonight I get to usher for the Symphony ‘s final concert of the season. Alexander Nevsky is on the program. I‘ve been waiting for this all year. Live Prokofiev’s score.

Enjoy it, John!

A late start for me here, because this morning I headed directly out to the church I substitute at for the funeral service that needed playing.

The service has been played, and I am back.

Now I have to run out for a few things, then I'm home for the rest of the day and hopefully through most of the weekend.

I'm looking forward to an immensely enjoyable, and productive, session at newspapers.com, once I'm back and the troops are fed.

You can't not feed those troops, man.

Damn, it's a gorgeous day. A touch cooler than the last couple of days, with lower humidity, and just possibly no precipitation over the next few days. Wouldn't it be nice if that actually came true? I mean, now, wouldn't it?

It's been a good day.  After my haircut, I met my friend Terry for lunch and we went to a nice little bistro on West 53rd Street.  I'm ready for a nap, but I've got to wait till I feed the cats.

Topic of the Day:  in my CD player right now is Ana Gasteyer's I'm Hip.  Amazon doesn't list the CD, only MP3s to download.  I got a brand spanking new actual physical CD from eBay, and it's great! :D
