The evening was pretty fun. There was a sandwich bar with various fillings, salad items, and cupcakes for dessert. As we got there, everyone got a little gift. I got a coupon for a car wash and two fancy chocolate truffles. Very nice! Then as we left, we got another coupon for car wash.

They also announced their 2019/2020 season. The two shows that I'm most interested in (and I know not everyone will be

) are The Naked Magicians (I guess they're really naked!), and the stage musical version of An American in Paris.

The evening's lineup got twisted and turned and pulled to include a Richard Rodgers tribute, ending with his new show Alexander Cohen's production of "I remember Mama" for almost 4 minutes.

I also remember a magnificent Tony medley when Jule Style, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cy Coleman played songs from upcoming musicals. Styne's was from Treasure Island and Lloyd Webber from Song and Dance. Can't remember what Coleman played.

I remember that because I had a cassette tape recorder and I stuck it in front of the TV speaker and recorded the audio of that song!
