Been listening to a peck of Kritzerland soundtracks while trying to finish this story. I'm up to 918 words and need to focus my eyes elsewhere for a few minutes.

Too Late Blues, The Fuzzy Pink Nightgown, The Apartment/The Fortune Cookie, Divorce Italian Style, My Geisha and now The Molly Maguires.

Some wonderful music in there.

Maybe tomorrow I can finish up the second story. That one is about 70% done.

Fred, you mean Hunchback II really isn't on par with Godard's latest cinemasterpiece or Kurosawa's finest? I promise not to tell. And this is the only board I post on, though I still read castrecl.

I guess I know what the script writers wrote, and it had such an exciting villain  and the non-scary one in the rewrite is so "meh."  Everyone was so excited about what they were doing, but it was 2001 or so, and the numbers show they were right about their target audience for the non-movie-theater versions.

I just watched Haley Joel Osment's number with Tom Hulce in a few languages.  The video coming out in early 2002 was perfect timing for Skip, with more than enough positivity for the songs that it gave him a nice push to have a good time writing the "Last Starfighter" score.

I'm deep into Charles Strouse's unused score for The Molly Maguires. I've always loved this music.

In honor of national ice cream day I had a mini Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream cone.  It measured under 4 inches.  It was a perfect size for me.

I had some peaches and cream ice cream earlier. Just what the doctor ordered in this heat.

I had a delicious peach today, the last of ones we purchased at Costco last week.

It was very warm today and the house needs to be cooled down, but I hate using the AC.

I know how you feel.

Keith fixed our vent over our bed so the cold air doesn't blow on our heads anymore.  I have no idea what they were thinking putting vents in the ceiling in the only place the bed can go.

The coldest room is our closet, and again the air blows down on us.

Currently (thru September 2), the Museum of Flight has the actual Apollo 11 command module, Columbia, on display as part of their Moon Landing exhibit.

What a coinkydink!  My sister made a peach cobbler for dessert today. :) It was delish!  I had it with some Tillamook vanilla bean ice cream.
