We have a large all weather box on our front porch with a sign on top saying "please leave packages this box"

Sometimes we find packages in the box, but very often we find the next to the box, on the box, right in the middle of the porch , on the other side of the porch from the box,lying on the path, and on one memorable occasion, just dropped on the lawn inside the fence

When we left vixmom she had pulled into her driveway while a mysterious car,previously blocking her drive had suddenly driven off very quickly

When I walked up to the house I found we had a package delivered that had not been put inside the porch box,keeping it both out of sight and out of weather, but instead, left in the middle f the porch where it could shout to all and sundry, "hey look here, free stuff in a convenient carrying container!"
