Patrol was weird this morning. Annabelle was deliberately contrary. She wanted to go out, she wanted to ride the elevator until it arrived, she went to the basement with me and went through her usual terrified act until the elevator arrived. Then she refused to board and decided to explore. She pulled the same on the first floor and I chased her to the second where she lounged on the linoleum until a tenant above us loudly closed their doo and spooked her. She ran to the elevator and waited till it arrived before she decided she really wanted to explore the second floor and I had to drag her home. She's back to her old self.

Yes DR JOHN G - Joy of Living is a wonderful early Lucy performance....and I like the guy who plays her husband, Frank Milan. And of course the little girls who played her twin daughters! They couldn't be cuter!

I don't remember ever seeing it before when it showed up on TCM OM DEMAND after being presented on Irene Dunne Day....

I had to give Rex some pain medication to take him to the vet. Even that didn't work and he said no more vet visits.

I had the impression that he was terminal and never going back to the vet. I'm happy he's still around.
