Last night after I left my parents' house, I went through the Lacey Carl's Jr. drive-thru. I got their Beyond Famous Star® with Cheese. I liked it more than Burger King's Impossible Whopper (which I liked, but just not as much). It could be the difference in the amount of toppings. It was more goopy than Burger King's.

Great photo! While reading the notes, I'd pictured the studio as being glamorous given that Cindy Williams and you were there, but I guess it's supposed to be designed to be functional and businesslike, like it is. Unless the studio inside is furnished differently.

When we met her after seeing her "The Drowsy Chaperone," the green room at the Marquis was quite hospitable and all abuzz, and we had seen a really exciting performance, where the audience was really giving back, and it somehow felt that the nature of the show made the audience e enthusiasm cause cast enthusiasm and that made the afternoon show even more exciting than the other times I'd seen it.

We got inside the backstage area easily because we were going to say hello to Danny, and Rebecca (and I think their kids) happened to be there also since she was doing a show a few blocks away. BK had told us to try to say hello to Cindy from him, if we said hello to Danny, and she sensed it was Ok to talk to us because she saw we knew Danny, and Skip knew a few others in the cast. And when Skip said he and I had a cast album on BK's label, she got so warm at the mention of BK's name.

The rapport doing the commentary sounds wonderful. I wonder if anyone ever did a play about two old friends doing a commentary, but maybe some drama could be made up (to go in during the session) and the taping of the audio keeps going. Could be very "Gin Game." Maybe use the actual commentary as a starting point, so the author credit could be "by Bruce Kimmel and Cindy Williams." (Or maybe a "My Dinner With Andre" kind of movie? But who could star in it?)

Although BK and Cindy Williams are of course younger than the "Gin Game" characters, but just that style as a jumping-off point.

The "premium" price concept started in 2001 as only the best 50 seats, and only the super-hot shows, but once they realized people with money will pay for "access," it expanded, and now it sometimes feels like third stall in the rest room is now considered premium, as long as they pipe the sound in there.

It's just a post-production house. Functional, as you say. And they occasionally do voice-overs and commentaries there and have a little room and booth set up for that - small, efficient, and clean.
