I love a good chicken salad, and it can go in at least a couple of different directions. One supermarket here makes a really "pure" one, just good quality chicken (not deli chicken) and mayo, which is a very rich but delicious variety. I also like the grape or dried cranberry (etc.) types of recipes, but I have no idea what's really been in the ones that I've liked. Some small bits of almond are fine, but I wouldn't want any other kind of nuts or even too much of the almonds. For me, that would become a distraction from the other yumminess.
But really, as long as I don't find a BIT OF GRISTLE or ANYTHING HARD in mine, I'm good with it. I love all three of these "salads" -- chicken, egg, tuna -- and in that order, but they're all good.
