Since she cancelled her visit we went & got our second shingles vaccination today. Fingers crossed we don't get sick. At least this time we didn't get a person just out of school to give us the vaccination. The last person injected it in super slow speed & our arms hurt like heck. This time it was quick & instead of the pain slowly building up it was over quickly. Four hours later our arms are starting to get a little sore, nothing bad yet.

Watching The Sound of Music. I haven't seen this in at least 30 years because I've seen it live so many times. I'm an hour into it. Sixteen Going on Seventeen is worse than I remember because the actor playing Rolf is way too irritating, as if he were a gay Nazi. But the picture is otherwise exceptionally well made, the scenery is stunning and Julie Andrews is practically perfect.

I don't know WHAT this day has been, but I have not stopped, I wrote not one word of liner notes and WHAT? I spent a LOT of time at the piano, a lot of time on the phone, picked up packages, got some pizza slices for food (probably a mistake), and at some point I watched the first ten minutes of The Thin Man and the next thing I knew is the phone rang and the menu screen was on meaning I slept through the entirety of the movie.

Thanks. Most the people I have known to have a bad reaction, flu like symptoms, had it with the second shot. It is comforting to know yours were better. So far our shot sites are barely sore. If I don't roll over on my arm tonight I should be ok.

About the play, something happened about 15 years before the play starts, and the mostly two-person play is one person confronting the other person about what happened.
