DR Jeanne, you asked the other day about the roach problem. Well, this morning was the first morning in months that there were no roaches frolicking in the bathtub. There was one in the kitchen sink, but I think we're finally winning the battle.

I see my doctor at 1:00 for the last round of pre-surgery tests, including an EKG. I will speak to her about a muscle relaxer or something for this pain as well.

I am just back from the vet — yes, again — because Poe needed to give an extra blood sample for a thyroid test, which numbers showed “high” on the regular test.

So you see, boys and girls ... it never ends.

Patrol was short. Annabelle chose to play on the stairs rather than frolic in the hall. After two flights I could climb no more. At the moment the cats are quiet and I am enjoying the break.
