Well, you've read the notes, the notes crossed the finish line, and now it is time for you to post until the crossing the finish line cows come home.

George is right - the campaign ended.  In past campaigns there was always a count down in minutes for the last hour - don't really understand how that happened.  I'd held off doing the countdown.  Well, 253% it is!

Congrats, BK!!  Can't wait to get the DVD and the other item I selected! ;D

Also, one gal desperately wanted the other film costume and asked if I'd sell it after the fact, as she wouldn't have the dough until next week - so that's another 300 bucks and with no fees.

Would you consider an offer for something else that didn't sell? ;)

George, do you want to be the executive producer?

Oh, I forgot to mention that there was an interview with Danny Bonaduce today on one of our local TV programs.

He is a disc jockey on one of our Seattle radio stations, and he has lived in Seattle for several years.

I was very impressed with how mature he has become.  He has been married for several years and has been clean and sober for the past seven years.

He gives all the credit for his sobriety to David Cassidy.  It was a very interesting interview.

I got almost ten hours in bed last night, but I certainly did not sleep ten hours.  I'm guessing about five of that was sleep.  I need to go in to City Center since Joshie needs my help and I need the income, but I'd rather spend the day in bed.

I've been debating the pros and cons of canceling the surgery and going back to physical therapy ASAP.  I don't know, if I have the surgery next week, how I will cope with two physical issues at the same time. I'm worried about the first night after surgery where I should be sleeping in an upright position and the fact that my damned leg won't let me.

When I saw the surgeon, I was in much better physical shape than I am at the moment, so I'm in a bit of a quandary.

CHILDREN & GANGSTERS & NAZIS!

OH, MY!

I am pleased to announce the publication of my newest book, AUNT ADDIE, which is available via Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions, as well as through other booksellers

Set in 1939 New York and inspired, in part, by the plight of the MS ST. LOUIS (VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED), this warm and funny Damon Runyon-like fable deals with Addie Russell, a lady nightclub owner, who takes under her wing two orphaned Jewish refugee children. The children are in the country illegally, and are also being pursued by a Nazi agent because, unknown to them, they have in their possession a vital piece of microfilm.

The story is populated with nasty gangsters, comic gangsters and, of course, a handsome F.B.I. man to serve as Addie's romantic interest.

If you enjoyed GUYS AND DOLLS and the lighthearted Warner Brothers gangster films (like A SLIGHT CASE OF MURDER and BROTHER ORCHID) of the late thirties, then this one should delight you.
