Then I applied for the new job that was finally posted. And I called the Argo Group about the job they are interested in having me come in to interview for.

Good luck, John!  It's certainly nice to be wanted!

When I got to work, I saw that last night’s storm swept scaffolding off the neighboring building across the street into parish hall of my friend Gail’s church. Three people at a bus stand were apparently injured. Not a pretty scene.

Oh, no!  That's terrible.  Hopefully, they weren't badly injured. :(

What a kooky day.  Marshall Harvey happened to be in the nabe, so I joined him at Corky's for my usual sandwich.  That was fun.  Had to be here for a delivery, which came at three-thirty, so never got to the mail place because Jesus arrived and is still here doing his thing.

Did come up with a fun new tune today, so that was good.  And got some stuff done on the computer, too.

They've scheduled a table reading a week from now so the artistic directors can assess the situation - it was their call, they must deal with it, even if they like what they hear.  I think this person had badgered them for a long time about letting him do the play and they finally said okay - there are many reasons for that, including he reviews shows there.

He reviews shows, sounds like they were held hostage.

So, what*, it's that time again?
   *See what I did there?

Apparently, it is. Op'nin' night tonight, and all that. Pray for the baby.

Have a great evening!

I could have made three posts out of that.

And an extra opportunity to see that cute kid of yours.

Jane, in answer to you question last night, Brian says he'll come another time to help me clean, but if he finds a job in his new area I don't think it'll happen. Believe me, I've been trying to think of a way for it to be viable for him to make the drive down here, but it's just too long a drive.

Vibes he makes it down one more time.

He's gotten done a lot of the doesn't-need-to-be-cleaned-often tasks, so that's good. So many of today's cleaning people are really picky and turn their noses up at anything they don't want to do. Brian's not that way. The apartment's in better shape now and I could bring in a more conventional sort of cleaner. But I haven't a lot of patience these days with bad attitudes. And I'm spoiled because Brian was so good!

I know what you mean.

Tonight, Tracy and I are going to see CALENDAR GIRLS at the Tacoma Little Theatre.  This is the first production of their 101st Season.  I have several friends in the production; including Jane, George, and my friend, Sharry.  I am not sure that I will make it home before midnight.

I hope you love it.

Oh no, not good.  Did you have flooding there?  I know other others of Texas did.

We had a very nice time at Beaches tonight.  We haven't been in awhile & were welcomed back with hugs.  The people we usually sit across from were also there.  When their seeing eye dog saw us from a distance she stood up all excited :).

The uniform makes our pregnant waitress look fat.  She will be happy when she is big enough to look pregnant.  I was laughing & she finished my statement for me, yes she is letting all the customers know she is pregnant & not fat ;)

We will be in London, York, & Manchester in the next two weeks.  Mostly we are visiting with family & friends, and doing a genealogy tour.

DR George, we don't expect, except in York, to be doing the usual tourist activities.  That will likely mean we won't be where there are key chains.  Please, if you want something from a particular area let me know otherwise there might not be a a key chain this trip.

I never have any expectations, so don't worry about it.  If you find something(s), that's great, but if not...no problem.  Thanks for thinking of me (again)!
