Watching an Eric Clapton concert film called Crossroads. Quite wonderful guitar playing from all involved. And the lineup is impressive: Booker T., Taj Mahal, Robert Cray, the Allman Brothers, Keith Richards, Robbie Robertson, Vince Gill, B.B. King and, of course, Clapton.

I received a box of open bottles of liqueurs from the estate of a friend's father. So, now, in case Hercule Poirot ever drops by, I can serve him creme de banane. I think I'll end up cooking with most of these, which range from white chocolate liqueur to something called Sabra, which is a chocolate-flavored orange liqueur that's billed as "The Liqueur of Israel."
