DR TCB - I posted this last night, but it didn't show up.

We wear leather microphone belts to hold our wireless microphone paks.  I tried to maybe put Hal's pak in his back pocket, but his jeans were too tight.  And anyway, we would still have the wire from the pak to his ear to deal with.

I tried to tell from some videos of the Broadway revival how they did it - but I couldn't tell....didn't see any wires - but I'm sure he was miked.....

So he just wore his sleeveless t-shirt....

I've seen a lot of shows where the wire from the mic pack can be seen snaking up to the person's head when the actor isn't wearing a shirt (or actress, when she's in a bra).  It's just what it is.  The actors need to be heard.

Cheyenne Jackson wore a mic in DAMN YANKEES on Broadway, and he stripped down (believe me I know) and you could see the mic pack and the chord.  It certainly didn’t take away from the performance.

I was told that I would need to drink at least 8 ounces of grapefruit juice for it to affect my meds.  I would think that the very small amount in a marinade wouldn't have any effect on meds.  Just a theory.

I wouldn't think that anything as inconsequential as a mic wire could take away from Cheyenne Jackson's performance...especially if he's shirtless!
