Wow, the moral of "The King of Jazz" is that jazz is a great big melting pot -- and in this Hollywood melting pot, everyone's white. Even the voodoo dancer was a white man painted black.

I think I should have something light as a snack, having only eaten the sandwich and a Rocky Road candy bar. I got the latter because I don't think I've had one in fifty years. Whatever appeal it once had it has no more, not for me. I mean what is it - a little chocolate and a lot of marshmallow. It was gross. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. So, what should the snack be - bored of everything at Gelson's, save for the seafood salad - so, maybe that?

Currently copying 146 of 14,800 tracks - I do believe this will take a good long while, oh, yes, I do believe that. It's been misbehaving, the iPod - battery drained - so maybe the battery has died, although it was supposed to be some kind of long-life thing.

But a very young Bing Crosby was a sight to see. And all these white people singing about Mexico is hilarious. Their Spanish is about as authentic as my Mandarin.

Got a small cube steak and some seafood salad - both calorie-friendly. Eating the steak now. And wondering why, when you download Mojave directly from the Apple site that you immediately have to do an update the requires restarting. Don't get it and won't do it until after the notes are up.

Bruce, I don't mean to be negative, but I've all no end of problems since installing Mojave. I need to contact Apple, but reached them before for operating system help through their website and am not sure how I got there. DO YOU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR TECH HELP? I'm no longer under AppleCare, but they told me last time that they'll still support the OS.

Today was Car Day. I filled the tank, then took the car to the car wash and had it Tech Shielded (similar to wax, but a different compound). Glad that's done. On the way home I stopped at Whole Foods Market and bought lunch. Wasn't someone here talking about pizza recently? I hadn't had pizza in maybe 5 or 6 years so I bought a slice. It wasn't bad, but once every 5 years is fine.

Internet went down ten minutes ago. Of course Spectrum says it’s not them. Unplugged the modem, re-plugged nada. It’s them. So now they send someone tomorrow between eleven and noon. Obviously I hope it’s back up before that. If not, the notes will be very short until they fix this. We haven’t had any issues for a while. So annoying
