My various devices are set up to NOT allow any automatic updating because my more critical applications can be rendered unreliable all too easily until they and the OS are known to be working together seamlessly.

Case in point: the debacle this very week of ForScore being subject to crashing on the new iPad OS. Apple put out a fix very promptly, but sometimes that isn’t possible.

Case in point #2: MainStage is known to have weaknesses in its own latest revision, and also known to have problems running on Mojave. So I’m still running the prior version of MS and will stick with High Sierra until everyone agrees all the bugs are worked out.

Well, I’m back to the grind tonight with a brush-up rehearsal. Just piano, and no costumes and makeup, so not too painful. It will be good to clean up a few things. And then on to the next three shows.

My update to Mojave rendered my Microsoft office and Finale non-compatible. I have the latest Microsoft Office now, but people have complained they cannot open Word documents I've sent. I cannot afford to update Finale at the moment, but I need to to get back to work on Babes In Toyland.

City Center owes me for two invoices, but they only paid one of them today, and that's not enough for Annabelle to see the vet. I am not amused.

I got a nice lady at referrals to get the hip x-ray expedited. I should be able to have it done tomorrow after physical therapy. No word on prescriptions.

Thursday afternoon greetings! Rebecca and I had an early-ish coffee get-together this morning. Since I've been home, I've been on the phone settling with the hotel's insurance company over my fall 3 months ago. In 7-10 days, I should receive some nice mail from them...

I posted that I was happy she ate her dinner and posted later that I believed she was dehydrated and constipated. I just booked an appointment for tomorrow at 3:30, but I have no idea how I'm paying for this visit since I was expecting twice the amount from City Center this morning than I actually received. That would have covered the visit.

I missed that she was dehydrated & constipated. A little low sodium tuna juice mixed with water can encourage drinking if you haven't already tried it.

Today we met friends at Kew Gardens and had a lovely walk there. We did not tour inside the palace aling the River Thames, just enjoyed the view. I treated myself to a Pepsi when we stopped for coffee, them, and Pepsi for us.
