I haven't seen Miss Charisse lately except in THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT III - I am not sure, but she seems to have indulged in a bit of plastic surgery.  I believe she did also suffer a stroke a few years ago, but she is carrying on just fine.

May I just ask a question?  Since when did they start making mannequins with defined body parts???  Have you seen these?  I mean, really!  I walked by a clothing shop and there were some female mannequins in skirts and blouses, with nipples protruding proudly.  Then there are the male mannequins - have you seen those, the ones they use for underpants?  I mean, really!  Do I NEED to see that?

They had nipples for a long time on female mannequins.  I used to dress them in a department store way back in the early 70's.

Well after all, when it's their turn to spend thirty days as a real person, they need to have all their working parts.

Did you go to the 13th floor to return a golden thimble?

What did the man say when they told him he had to give up your seat?

I have always wanted to see him.. Since he's a local boy his concerts sellout immediately and it is impossible to get tickets unless you are willing to part with a limb or two

That was another great concert. I say him in Iowa City years ago, I loved it when he turned around and played to the cheap seats behind the stage

The man who switched seats was very gracious.

They didn't have nipples like the nipples I saw today.

Didn't Beyonce sing that on the Oscars?

That's the title of my new book "They Didn't Have Nipples Like The Nipples I Saw Today"

And I certainly hope that old saying isn't true...."See Nipples and die....."

I do believe it's a song by Meltz and Ernest.

Girls of old had nipples
That barely caused ripples
They didn't have nipples like the nipples I saw today
Then their nipples were hidden
Today their nipples aren't kiddin'
Their nipples stick out like a blizzard in May

Nipples should be covert
And never ever overt
Nipples shouldn't be emphatic
Out of control and wholly erratic

Yes, nipples now are really out there
Can there still be any doubt there
In olden days a glimpse of nipple was quite outre
No, they didn't have nipples like the nipples I saw today!

See, I knew Beyonce had sung that on the Oscars.  Meltz and Ernest were far, far overdue for an Oscar nomination, don't you think?

Didn't someone here have a desire for THE BOATNIKS to be released on DVD? Well, whoever it was you can wait no more as it is coming out August 22!

Well, I guess you will have to wait a little while.

The CINDERELLA special edition is released the same day.

I watched men's figure skating tonight. Sloppy performances from everyone, but the Swiss champion truly did miraculous spins and two terrific quads. Even his two missed triples (which he singled) were kind of elegant. If one hadn't known that singles just aren't performed in a contest where you're trying to acrue points for every move you can squeeze in, I would have thought they were part of the performance.

American men finished 3rd, 4th, and 10th. That should get us three men on the Olympic team next year in men's singles.

And from what I gather, all of the American men this year were skating with injuries. With all the heavy jumping these folks have to do, it's little wonder their knees, their feet, and the muscles in their legs are prone to serious injury.

I thought CINDERELLA was scheduled for October 4th. Shows what I know. I watched the trailer for it on THE INCREDIBLES DVD, and I remembered that CINDERELLA is probably the least elaborate animation of all the Disney classics. It seems much less showy, much more sparse in its backgrounds and effect.

No, DR JRand, I didn't notice the stagehand in "Louisianna Hayride" on THE BAND WAGON, but I will look for it tomorrow.

Hello Everyone!  I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes yesterday!  I was feeling a little strange about this birthday - I am the BIG 35!  I don't feel like the BIG 35, but I am the BIG 35.  Anyways - all those great birthday wishes made me feel a lot better!  Thanks again everyone!
