At physical therapy, I will ask Gurjeet to check my left leg because it's been driving mer crazy with the pain since Tuesday.  He's got my right hip in great shape at the moment, so I'm hoping he can repair wha5tever I've done to my left.

I'm very tired.  The Tizanidine and the Tylenol PM help me sleep, but I cannot get a strong paomn medication out of my doctor, and she will not continue prescribing the Tramadol.  I sleep well for a while, but moving with these cramps in my left leg keeps me awake half the night.

I'm, all dressed up and ready to go, but I've at least 20 minutes before I can leave.

Annabelle's wheezing and sneezing continue, but her nose was clear this morning and she ate with the other cats.  I do not think it's a cold because I would think that Stella or Thatch would catch it as well.

Glad to hear last night went splendidly, but the attendance thing is mindboggling.

Tonight I'm going to see a regional production of The Drowsy Chaperone that two friends are involved in.

I love The Drowsy Chaperone and have played The Man In The Chair - I love that part, too!!!  You can play to the audience and throw in a gag or two if you are on your toes....

One night when the bed didn't go up into the wall and I had to push and push, I said: "Should have gone to Shuee's."  Which was the name of our show sponsor and local furniture and bedding emporium which got a VERY BIG laugh....

And of course if an audience member commented out loud on something I would always say:  "I know...right?"

And of course there was the night a little girl in the audience didn't want the show to end and yelled "No!" - when I said it was nearly over.....I pointed to my watch and said: "It's past my bed time, kid!"

Gladys Knight was excellent. We were told she would perform 70 to 90 minutes. She actually performed for 1:45 and was center stage for all of it. She did most of her hits, had sing-alongs to "You're the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" and "Midnight Train to Georgia," and even paid tribute to Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye. She didn't do any of "Try to Remember" before her "Way We Were," but that was a beautiful performance of the song. My favorite was a soulful version of "Someone to Watch Over Me" as a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, who apparently took her under her wing early in Knight's career.

I started using the Cascade Dishwashing Pods this week - and I am surprised how much better they are than the regular Cascade liquid.

The skies opened sometime during the concert and flash floods were happening everywhere around town in no time. Temperatures dropped 30 degrees or so. I was soaked to the bone by the time I got to my car. I couldn't get the water in my hair to stop dripping. I even used a towel I had in the car. But the worst of it was the fact that the interstate I use to get home was closed for some reason, and it took about 1:20 to get home. Thankfully, I have Stephen King's latest, The Institute, on CD, so I had some cherce listening.

And I forgot any pie with blueberries in it: Blueberry, blueberry-cherry, blueberry-rhubarb, blueberry-peach ...

Jane, Rules of Civility, as its very title suggests (at least to me), has a strong streak of dry humor in it.

The traffic wasn’t bad this morning, so I made it to the doctor’s office 25 minutes early. It’s now 15 minutes after the appointment time. I’m still waiting.

Eating is great news.  Wheezing makes me wonder if she has asthma.

Nope thank goodness.  The worst part was being stuck at home waiting when the sun was shining outside.
