Well, you've read the notes, the notes had further ado, much ado, and Ado Annie, and now it is time for you to post until the ado cows come home.

From last night:
My Tacoma library card is now null and void.

Tom, it might not be.  Some libraries around the state have reciprocal borrowing agreements so that if you're in the area, you can check out items, even though you don't live in their area.  You still need to return them on time.  It's especially a good thing if/when you use digital services like OverDrive.  If your local library didn't purchase a particular downloadable digital audiobook or e-book item, you can download it from another library system.  It's quite useful...if you use the service. :)

I would think that BK knows how to unseal a DVD. ::)

DR JohnG, have fun in Chicago!  I hear the recently widowed Regina Giddens has been set up at the Palmer House under Marshall's protection.

Annabelle and I liked "The Age of Innocence."  It's quite beautiful to watch, and beautifully cast.  I thought the narrator (Joanne Woodward) kept a humorous eye on things.

Her narration was the best part of the movie, IMO.

The litter cleanup was a real mess today.  I hope this does not bode ill for the remainder of the day.

We had a nice lunch yesterday with my son and his lady.

In about 2 weeks, they're flying off to South Africa for about 10 days.  They're going to a wedding.

I know he's 50 years old and quite responsible, but as his father, I will still "worry" until he comes safely home.

DR DRUXY last night was the first time I noticed that RIVER OF NO RETURN was produced by your friend Stanley Rubin.

Birdy Barnum is throwing the pistachio nuts and the walnuts out of his food bowl onto the floor.

The inner web keeps saying that parakeets WANT treats - but everything I've tried has been rejected....whether in a special treat cup OR mixed in with the regular food.

He also leaves the sunflower kernels on one side of the cup....

Thanks but NO thanks!
