I have never seen any Japanese monster movies. Not a one. I believe I saw a trailer for RODAN at the Rialto Theatre in downtown. I believe I saw it when I went to see, either DARBY O’GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE or MR. SARDONICUS.

I guess the Proctor Theatre (in my neighborhood) must nnot have shown any Japanese monster movies, or I would have certainly seen one. I went almost every Friday night.

I suppose the one that troubles me is the referring to someone as their, they, or them. I don’t have a problem if that is what they prefer, but I just feel uncomfortable knowing how to use them. One of the people at the Lakewood box office prefers those terms, but how are people suppose to know that by just meeting them. I know I worry about the strangest things.

I finally got off my duff and took my ballot to the drop-off box. I kept putting off this time, because I haven’t lived in Puyallup long enough to know who to vote for.

The one that made me shake my head was when I was given the opportunity to have my preferred pronouns listed on my name badge for the American Library Association annual conference.

I don't understand about the preferred pronouns thing.. certainly hen I am talking to you the only pronouns I would be using to refer to you would be "you" or possibly "us" or "we" all non gender pronouns. Unless I am going to be talking or writing about you in a public forum why do I need to know if you are he/she/they or whatever else I am too unwoke to know about?

my daughter ha been referring to one of her friends as "they" for years now. It confused the heck out of me since I kept thinking she was talking about multiple people
