a young woman saw me go down and ran across the parking lot to help me up and one of the poll workers also saw me go down through the open door to the polling place and she ran over and between the two of them they got me up

my palms were scraped and bloody and a small pebble was embedded in a cut in my hand.
my left leg and hip hurt so badly that they had to support me a few minutes and help me to a chair

i felt a liitle better after sitting for a few minutes and one of the women ad some wet wipes in her purse and gave me one to clean my hands

i somehow managed to cut open my left knee without tearing my jeans (which I am pleased about as they are relatively new jeans)

its been about 6 hours and two advil since the fall and my whole left leg from ankle to hip is still aching as is my lower spine, left arm and shoulder and both hands and wrists

Ginny I am terribly afraid that if I were invited to write my preferred pronouns on a name tag I would be tempted beyong resistance to write "your most gracious highness"

The sponsors of the event took a bunch of us to dinner tonight. Nine course Spanish dinner presented like tapas. Mostly excellent. In a historic hotel that presidents from T. Roosevelt to Jimmy Carter stayed at.

I think I would write those sentences using "It" rather than "they" .... but I'm an oddball...
