Anyway, the song from my first Kindle that I'm actually listening to RIGHT NOW is "Getting Away With You," sung by our very own enigmatic Guy Haines, written by the enigma in his own right, Jonathan Goldman.

Well, I need to get to sleep.  I don't get to sleep in this morning because I have some things to do.  Then, I'll usher again for Songs for a New World, as will my friend Margo, then I'm sure that we'll go out to eat afterward.

The show closes tomorrow, and I signed up to usher for it, also, so I'll see the final performance.

So, the Scalphunters continues. It's not great, but it's fairly enjoyable. I guess it belongs to that series of adult westerns that came about when the ratings system came in. A little more cussing, a little more violence, a little more sex.

For some reason when I read the first two sentences, "So, the Scalphunters continues. It's not great, but it's fairly enjoyable," I was thinking "headhunter" (like we're-looking-for-an-employee-for-a-job headhunter) and thought, "What?  John got ANOTHER job offer??"

I realized my error once I got past the first two sentences.

I called the pharmacy and the prescriptions were indeed filled and waiting on me, so I caught a bus, and now I'm home.

Great news, Larry!  It's too bad that it all had to happen the way it did, though.

DR elmore do you text?  If so ask your pharmacy if they offer text notifications.  Our pharmacy sends a  quick text.  Later, within the next few days, we receive a robo call.

Is it possible to have them automatically mailed to you?  I'm able to have mine mailed and they arrive pretty quickly.

I tried getting a Popeyes chicken sandwich but the line was 30 minutes long.

A friend of mine sent me a link to an article about what's going on with all that.  WTH??  It's just a chicken sandwich!

I think it was the next day, or The Day After That (a Kiss of the Spider Woman reference ).

I watched a strange little documentary on Amazon Prime this evening.

It was called THE RAVEN & THE GYPSY.  I don’t think BK ever mentioned it.

We did.  It's a short show, only about 90 minutes, including the intermission.  We walked to a local dive a couple of blocks away called King Solomon's Reef (or just The Reef).

It is about a community theater company in Northern California (The Raven) that decides to put on a production of GYPSY.

It starts with the auditions and goes thru rehearsals and right up to opening night.

I had the Cheese Quesadilla with taco meat.  It's an option on their printed menu, but it's not online.  I also added onions.  It was quite delish!

It was kind of fun.  It was kind of like eavesdropping at any of our local theaters.  They mentioned several times that it was the largest and most complicated production they had ever attempted.
