I know it's in the original show, and I seem to remember it in the movie too... but... ???

I must admit it has been a couple of years since I played that  tape, I just checked and it was sold in 1990...and of course being a tape I can't just pop it in  the machine and check out the song listings.. maybe I'll stop by the library tomorrow and see of they have the soundtrack in their racks....

Hey, DR Rodzinksi...  Any plans for tomorrow or Tuesday night?  After the appointed dinner hours?

Is there a Rufus equivalent in this neck of the woods?

DR MBarnum - I had every intention of popping in that Bollywood movie tonight when I got back from dinner, but what I thought was the DVD/movie in my bag was not the movie.  :(  -Now it may be hiding, but I didn't spot anything during my earlier excavation.

DR elmore - Can we/you/I plan on dinner tonight/tomorrow/Monday night?  -It looks like I'll be seeing a show Tuesday night after all.

Or if you still need another quiet evening, then maybe lunch downtown later in the week?  Think about.   I'll check the board in the morning, and call you too.

Thank you, one and all, for all of the reports and photos of the New Yawk weekend.  I know it sounds impossible, but I am afraid that we in the Pacific Northwest are going to be topping your weekend very soon.  In fact, I predict, that within the the next week, Jed and Ann and I will be getting together for ice cream....and maybe even dinner!

Eat your heart-out East Coasters!!!

I think PennyO should revive her show in Seattle and/or Portland when she returns to this corner of the world, don't you agree TCB/Ann/George/JMK/Jane/MBarnum? :D

YES!!!!  She could do the "Aound the World With Hainsies and Kimlets Tour!!"

Dr George, the weather here in Salem has been very windy also...my back yard looks like the aftermath of one hell of a party! One which I wasn't invited to but that I have to clean up after  >:(

:o It kind of sounds like some of the roads that I had to drive on today...but fortunately, the roads weren't quite that bad, though.

Regarding "Virginia Woolf"
Kathleen Turner was interviewed in the Sunday NY Times.
She did not ask the producers to hire a separate matinee cast as they did in the original Broadway production.Instead, every other week, they'll reduce the schedule from 8 to 7 performances.
"Not to be there feels like cheating," she explained. "And it just seems wrong not to offer, well, me."

Hold tight while I change to our new topic.

There is no predicting Brantley, is there?  But, that's what makes horse racing.  I suspected the critics would be fooled by this one - but anyone who has ever seen a first rate production of this play with powerhouse actors will know that something is amiss here.
