Last night I finished reading a novel about a woman exiled from Cuba who is working with the CIA as a spy.  Her goal is to return to Cuba & kill Castro who had her twin brother killed.

Under the Goodreads questions, with a spoiler warning, was "Does she end up killing Castro?"

I thought the only response was great.  "I'm sorry if this seems rude but, do you ever watch the news or read a newspaper?!"

Well, in Inglorious Basterds, they kill Hitler.

Back from dancing. Fun night, but they played too many foxtrots and too many cha-chas.

Didn't "Beetlejuice" do something similar for the Tonys, also lyrics that were not written for the actual show "Beetlejuice" but especially for the Tonys?

And spoiler alert:  In "Inglorious Basters," they kill Tom Turkey.

Back from a productive day in certain ways.  The run-through was MUCH better, but act two stubbornly is resisting moving along quicker - made even more so by our having to have someone read Beverley Carlton and read it as slow as molasses.  But that's only about three minutes and IF that was the case, we still need to pick up seven more and I felt the act was paced pretty well and was surprised at how long it ran.  So, I may go through and make some judicious edits.

Why is no one watching their Creature DVDs (those who've received it) - or have you and if you have and hated it you can still talk about it as I'm interested in hearing all thoughts.

Later we met Kate and her husband, along with my other brother and his significant other, my nephew and niece and their families, and others.  We dined at a local Italian restaurant called “Chef’s.”

I miss Kate.

I actually wondered why the woman, or teen, asking the question didn't google Castro to see when he died.

T.O.D.

I am not sure what foods I couldn’t live without.  Hmmmmm

I guess chocolate, although I still have some Halloween candy bars sitting in the kitchen.
Probably anything that is really fattening; such as potatoes prepared as mashed, scalloped, or fried with lots of butter and onions.
Most desserts.....pies, cakes, cookies.
My mother’s tamale pie.  It is probably good that I don’t have the recipe!

It is only down to 28 degrees tonight.  It will actually warm up a little during the night, so that we can get a light dusting of snow in the early morning.

Tomorrow night, at least on our PBS station, they are showing a repeat of the John Legend version of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.

Well, I guess that depends on whether there is anything else worth watching instead.

Topic of the Day:  not a food, but my drink of choice:  diet Pepsi. :)

I know BK prefers diet Coke, and I certainly have enjoyed my share of diet Coke (but ideally only when dispensed from a fountain...cans and bottles have a different taste and just aren't right), but I do prefer the taste of diet Pepsi.
