Tonight after work I went to notarize something for someone as a favor.

Walking into the  was like walking into an ashtray...

I could smell the smoke on me for hours afterwards and no one wa# actually smoking while I was there

It’s hard for me to believe Vixdad and I were both smokers when we met

I haven’t smoked now since 1987 and vixdad had his last smoke 12/31/1988

I don’t work for him anymore so I don’t care as long as I got my paper signed

After the notarizing I dropped y Kohl’s to look for a new top to wear tomorrow night

Both my parents smoked while my sister and I were growing up, but my mom quit about a month before my niece was born in 1984.

The boss is hosting an office Holiday dinner at a local country club.

And I had a 30% off coupon that wascrying out to be used

I ended up by three pairs of earrings that were marked down from $50 to $10 and were further reduced by means if the magic coupon to $7 a piece, 2 cozy fleece sweatshirts reduced from $19.99 to $9.99 a piece so they came to like 6.98 each and a pretty light blue ribbed turtleneck reduced from $29.99 to $19.99 so it was about $14 after the coupon and the I was given $10 in Kohl’s cash  so all in all I was pretty pleased

My mom had never smoked a day in her life.  My dad smoked cigarettes except for about 5 years in the 1970s when he switched to a pipe, he quit right before the Vixter was born in 1993

Thrivent is a financial group for IRAs life insurance stuff like that, they are also faith based and provide funds to promote “socialgood”

He reminded me that I was still eligible to request 2 action plans for this year to be used by April 2020, bu5 I had to request them by the 31st

So when I got home , after making and eating dinner, I signed on and was able to request plans to support the soup kitchen.

And that was my day

You wouldn't want the bones removed from a fish before cooking. Bones are where the flavor is. Anyway, I guess I was taught that by a snooty, language-is-frozen person, who would not realize that after 50 years of usage, a word can change.

The other day, a woman was complaining about the Washington Post using "gift" as a verb. It's been used as a verb since the 17th century. If we've been using "gift" as a verb for 400 years, then, by gum, it's a verb.

Then after the fish has been cooked you would ask if it was boned, or to please bone it vs debone it?

Our condo monthly news letter arrived today and I cringed when I read "revert back".  I asked Keith and was pleased he too cringed.  I think it is worse than when someone says PIN number figuring they don't know the N stands for number.  Then Keith said he was about to comment to me last night, while watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, that Midge said Irregardless.  But then Suzie corrected her that is isn't a word & all was right in the world

 

Ask Keith how he feels about people referring to a book’s ISBN number...

I currently WORK with people who say "ISBN number."

Do you tell them that the N stands for number?
