Bad night of sleep.  I wanted to sleep in this morning, but Stella thought otherwise.

On Monday, DR JRanmd69 posted this:
Mercury in Sag and a few other happenings point to career boosts and job offers coming along on Thursday December 12 - FULL MOON.

Just before I read this, I had received an email from a former employer inviting me to an event this evening, and I accepted.  I am very happy about this, and I am also curious about why this has occurred.  I'm saying no more about this now, but I hope to have a fuller report tomorrow.

The Man Who Came To Dinner isn't a funny movie?  I think it's a hoot, not so much for Monty Woolley, who seems frozen to me, but I love Jimmy Durante, Bette Davis, and the rest of the cast.

Vixmom, congratulations to Vixdad and you. In May, it’ll be 30 years since I quit smoking.  Hard to believe the 1990s are now 30 years ago.

I shall have to ponder the TOD. I have read 120 books so far this years. The book I finished yesterday, a memoir called Times New Roman, won’t make the list. It’s about a woman with no facility for languages who moves to Rome for two years and experiences very cliched things.

Kitty cleanup finished.  Mayor Pete is on CBS This Morning. I'm supporting him, but I'm voting for whoever gets the nomination.

DR VIXMOM I would like The New Yorkers if it's still available - but you don't have to send it until after the Christmas RUSH.

TOD:

Murder At The Magic Castle

My Cousin Rachel - which I hadn't read in many years....

Shakespeare's Ear, Beethoven's Skull, and Weird Dances - three books full of anecdotes about their titular folks and activities....

I shall see if I can think of anymore.

Yes DR ELMORE we want a full report.

More:

The full moon in logical, endlessly-curious Gemini has you asking questions about anything and everything today—and you won't stop until you get the answers you're looking for. Technology is a valuable resource now, and since the clever Gemini full moon energy puts you in total control of the flow of information, it's hard to think of a better time to gather pertinent data about what 2020 holds!

Sounds like some kind of collaboration to me.....

Yes the rsst of the cast is good.  When I saw the play I was shocked how funny it was.

Repeating, i.e. pin, lengthens a word.  That doesn't make sense to me ;)

DR Vixmom I am glad you regularly didn't take time to wait for the elevator.   I almost always prefer to take the stairs when possible.
