Well, you've read the notes, the notes were tonal, and now it is time for you to post until the tonal cows come home.

Yesterday was a day.  I got to sleep in, then I went downtown to Olympia Family Theater's production of their own musical adaptation of The Wind In the Willows.  This is a remounting.  They first did it about seven years ago.  I ran the sound board for that production.

They wrote I think three new songs for this new production.  The new songs are good but I don't think the new opening  number quite fits the rest of the score the way the others do.  I did enjoy this new production, but not as much as the first production that I was involved in. ;D

After seeing The Wind In the Willows, I went into work for about a half hour, then went home for about a half hour, then went back downtown to work concessions for one of the local ballet company's annual (biennial?) production of The Nutcracker.  Pre-show is always easy, but intermission is always a bit of a madhouse, and this year it was no exception...but we got through it.

My friend Margo also worked concessions (she recently took the concessions training) and did well enough, but doesn't think she'll work concessions again.  You miss too much of the show.  That's why I'll usually work concessions when I don't care to see the show.  I just want to support the center and get some time in. :)

After concessioning, we went to Red Robin for dinner.  I had their Caesar's Chicken Wrap.  It was pretty good.  I had a $50 gift card, so I used that.

Today, I have no plans for the day until 5:00, when I'm going to a production meeting for Olympia Little Theatre's next show, Equivocation.

Yesterday during kitty cleanup as I lifted the litter pan I pull or pinched something in my back, and it hurts like hell.  Where I moved cautiously before, I can barely move at all.  I hate getting old!

Now that my work has officially arrived and I've cashed and spent most of the initial payment, I think I will be at my work table most of the day.

DR Jane asked about scratching posts.  The cat tree's six columns are  scratching posts and those are now scratched to nothing and the reason I want to get a new cat tree for them.  They also have a new scratching post in the bathroom and we're on our second floor model which sits at the foot of the cat tree and our second ramp which sits besaide the cat tree and leads to the first landing of the tree.

That cat tree was purchased in October 2017 for Annabelle, before I adopted Thatch, and now all three cats fight over the crow's nest for sleeping.  The next will accommodate more than one cat.

Here’s a link to the website about the pottery place we visited yesterday. No matter the size or shape, nothing as I recall was over $30.

Kitty cleanup went very easily.  When it's 10:00, I will use the dustbuster for a bit.  For now, I need breakfast.

BK and Elmore, I will try to have reviews written before I leave on Thursday, though I may have more time after I leave.

We've now got three good reviews to offset William Oser's negative.

Here's the funny part.  When he reviewed Dearest Enemy, he slammed my orchestrations for not being true to the period, although I would swear it's impossible to tell mine from the only existing one by Harold Sanford.  So, he listened to The New Yorkers on Amazon with no liner notes, and I have the impression from his review that he thinks they are the original orchestrations.
