DR George it is my understanding that some medications & treatments can help in the earlier stages of alzheimers and a medical confirmation is needed to get them.  Of course I could be wrong.

I've heard that, too.  Hopefully, my mom (who is a retired nurse) is looking into that.

I hope so.  It could also rule out any other condition/medication that could be contributing to his issues.

Oy!  I was looking at my wall calendar, and nothing seemed correct.  So I looked carefully at the cover.  I stupidly ordered a 2019 calendar last month!

Oh no.  I hope it was super cheap.

J.B. saved the day. I was doing a load of laundry when he started squawking like crazy. I went in to see what was the matter and he noticed the washer had started to leak. I’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since.

Yay for J.B. & for you checking on him.

I haven't seen a single movie.  We forgot our plan to watch "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" this weekend.

What a bird!

If Timmy falls down the well, I bet that JB will be giving DR John G. an earful!

is this page 5? Not sure how one knows!

Greetings DRs on HHW.  Yesterday was a heck of a closing show for The Man Who Came to Dinner, and for the first (and last) time ever, Barry Pearl launched some of his cream puff backwards in the air, landing OVER the flat onto the wall of the "dining room".

Since I am unable to upload any show photos here, you are welcome to see the album of the closing performance on Facebook.    https://www.facebook.com/leslie.young.31/media_set?set=a.10158127484326289&type=3

Have a wonderful week :)

Well, the water main problem has screwed up our evening plans.   I'm going nowhere tonight except to bed.

I've wanted a Siamese cat for a long time.  In the past 2+ years, I've never seen one up for adoption at the NYC ACC.  Today, two were brought in, 3-month old Moet and 3-year-old Poppy Seed.  I'd take them both, if I could.

I didn't end up futzing and finessing - I'll just do that once I'm finished, for those pages.  Instead, I mushed on and did thirty-one pages.  I can't imagine I won't finish tomorrow or tomorrow evening, as I've just crossed page 600.

Since it received more nominations than any other film, we went out and rented JOKER this afternoon.

We didn't really like the movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor Oscar.

Send me the one you don't want.    :)

They look like my late cat, Annie.

Wow. 600 pages and it’s only Jan. 13. You’re entering Trollope or Dickens territory. Soon, it’s on to Tolstoy and Dostoevsky country. Finally, Stephen King without an editor.
