I've been working on what will be my next homemade Blu-ray disc...the restoration of the original 1943 version of Oklahoma!  The whole show is available on YouTube.  Here is Act One, and This is Act Two. :)

But now, I must be off.  I'm meeting my Equivocation co-sound designer for a bit, and then I'm off to my parents' house for our weekly family dinner.

Be back later!

Back from our show, which went beautifully and about which more in the notes.  We ended up with a decent house, but this show is always a sellout and so that was a bit disappointing.  But the kids did great.

I had a small Caesar before the show and another one after, so at The Federal I won't need much.

I had a book on hold at the library & noticed there will be a mini series released this year.  Knowing Keith will probably want to see the mini series I went to Goodreads to see if I still want to read it.  It turns out I read the book in 2017 & actually gave it 4 stars (mostly I don't rate books).

This is a perfect example of why I began keeping track of the books I have read ;D

Did you remember then that you had read it?

I was shocked to see I had read it.  Often I think I read a book & check to see if I have.  This one was a big surprise ;D

We walked around Fort Vancouver and were surprised how many people were there.

A large number of them were walking around in small groups of 2-6 people looking at their phones.  I asked, since Keith didn't believe me, and they were all playing Pokémon.

Glad to hear the show went well, but sorry it wasn't a sell-out like it usually is.

The chess pie was quite wonderful, IMHO. I'm going to have to keep this recipe.

Jeanne, Jeanne is coming out of her half-dreamed dream. But I doubt she'll run, if she wills, to the top of the hill.
