More good surprise vibes for MR BK.

I like the Anita Kerr Singers.....I think I have a boxed LP set of them singing with Rod McKuen.

"A House Is Not A Home" is my favorite song from "Promises, Promises".

Slept in a little, which felt damn good.

One weird-ass dream, but I don’t remember as much of it as I’d like.

I could go for a vixmom breakfast this morning.

Might have to rustle something up in a little while.

I haven’t eaten at a Cheesecake Factory since I lived in California, and I’m trying to remember what I ever had there besides pies. Probably nothing too out of the ordinary. Burgers and other sandwiches, most likely.

The only one I ate at regularly was the Beverly Drive one when it first opened, and I was at the Marina del Rey one a couple of times. We have one here now, and it’s been on my “list” to get in there...eventually.

Thank you, BK, for the words on LILITH. That would have to be what I was faintly remembering:  that it didn’t add up to too much. Too bad, considering all it had going for it. But I’ll certainly enjoy seeing it again, especially for the exquisite Jean Seberg.

I think the current day's notes loaded today and maybe even yesterday without my having to refresh them. Did something happen?

Mine loaded correctly today, too, on both devices.

Sunday morning greetings!  We have just left a lovely morning prayer service that Fr. Richard conducted, via Zoom, for the church in Beavercreek, OH (Dayton 'burb) where he was supposed to be in person this morning. Amanda did a great job setting it up and there were no major audio or video gaffs.

Watching Cesar and I really don't remember much of this movie at all. The musical dropped most of it.

I think Sanditon may have jumped the shark in Episode 6, which seems more out of Henry Fielding that Jane Austen.

In the last week, my niece has had me record two Hallmark movies and put them on Blu-rays for her. ::) These movies are so generic and bland.  What's the appeal??

Happy endings

Is that the last episode or are there 8?

Might have to rustle something up in a little while.

Today’s breakfast was eggs Benedict with thinly sliced ham fried up in a skillet in lieu of Canadian bacon.  Accompanied of course by a nice hot pot of tea.

Just finished watching the last of the Marseille trilogy. Knowing that the last of the films was released in 1936 and that Fanny's son goes off to the join the army then made things even more emotional. In four short years, the Nazis would march into Paris. Who knows what would have happened to him in the meantime.

The scene where the villains create their own two-backed beast on the dragon floor?
