A couple of last night’s dreams were weird...

One had me and several friends being questioned by a cop as to why we were waiting in two parked cars outside another friend’s house at the beginnings of dawn. It was all very friendly.

The other is indescribable, even to mine own self. Something about this small animal that I think was a rare sea creature, and there was some kind of musical process going on that would result in a change of behavior in this creature...

Oy!

TOD 1:

I don’t rely on full memory this early in the morning:

A King in New York
Monsieur Verdoux
The Stranger
The Crowd
Greed
Repulsion
Les Demoiselles de Rochefort
Andre Rublev
Renoir’s The Lower Depths
Judex
Sundays and Cybelle

.  I was driving on Route 4 in Middletown, Ohio, on my way to a party at Al Gore's home; Mrs Gore was a wonderful hostess/

They love her at all the restaurants. Rumor is she's a great tipper.

Something's afoot with Babes In Toyland.  I do not yet know what.

Is that one of the projects Skip worked for you guys on?  Or was that Roberta?

I’ve had my share of celebrities and other famous people dreams, but I always have to credit my meeting and escorting Mikhail Gorbachev as the most extraordinary.

Thanks again for all the vibes for Skip.  He goes back to get it all looked at Friday or Monday. What's not clear is whether he foes back to the place where he was treated last Thursday or somewhere uptown.

As Countess Charlotte almost sang in Weekend In the Country:  He'll go masked.

Or at least they'll give him a mask at the door if he calls ahead.

That reads like it could be a line from "Eyes Wide Shut."  But they're still rationing the masks.

As Hopkins said to Jefferson in "1776,"  Give her. a good one for me, young feller.'

Or am I thinking Mickey Rooney in "Sugar Babies."

I'm so nosy I'm surorised I never asked.
As they'd ask in my folks' community in Florida: is there a Mrs, Griffin?

When the neighbor lady asked "Is there a Mrs. Landau," my mom. knew to chime in, "I'm Mrs. Landau" before I answered.

It was very interesting, that when Mom was in the hospital, we could talk about Skip, even look at the wedding photos, very freely no matter who was in the room.,

But in North Miami Beach, there's always an unspoken reminder that while Florida accepts gay marriage (nevus it ws forced to by the Supreme Court in 2013), bias based on being gay is still not illegal.

In Aventura, two miles from my folks, everyone is welcomed and accepted.

But if you want to be biased against gay people, North Miami Beach is just a $9 cab ride away.

It's like you need a device as you're driving, which town it's ok to stop at a diner in.

I don't think I've even slept an hour - really struggling with either acid reflux or something not agreeing with me - you know how it feels like you're gonna throw up - you don't, but you get that yucky burning stuff in your throat, which is happening right now.
