Very interesting, DR Jrand69. Thank you.

The page has been posted on, but not for a couple of days, while the other one sees activity every day.

I tried posting and the "new post" window isn't behaving very well, particularly in regard to the uploading of a photo which doesn't seem to be working. The photo never shows up there. I'll try there again later. Maybe just posting something will get somebody's attention and get a response.

Frankly, it appears as though they've locked the other page so that only those who were there before his death (or who were FB friends with him) can still post.

Weilling away the hours ... Mauceri’s Street Scene is a mighty fine recording. Best Moon Faced, Starry Eyed going.

Alfred Drake and Jane Wilson are heartbreaking in Down in the Valley.

Up next: Tryout with Weill and Ira Gershwin, George’s lovely sister.

Yesterday, I got a FedEx text message that a package was going to be delivered today, but when I clicked on the link which opens up their website in my browser, THAT page says that it's going to be delivered tomorrow.  What gives??  I guess I'll find out when I find out...hopefully, sooner rather than later.

My guess, they had too many packages and delayed yours.  If it doesn't say "out for delivery" the delivery date isn't a definite date.

Today I must deal with the serious future of Babes In Toyland. The Institute will be calling at some point, and we will discuss why I am ready to jump ship.  I will go further into that later.

"jump ship"  :o  I thought good things were happening :(

I saw and listened to the song last night on FB, and as I said there, what a wonderful surprise.

It's a perfect song video, BK. Seriously.

And the glasses look great. I'm jealous because I need a whole eye workup, and it ain't going to happen for a little while. I look forward to improving my vision, and to replacing these frames which have held two sets of lenses and are showing their age, at least to me.

I just need to replace, with a new prescriptions, my very scratched lenses.  I want to keep the frame.  If I could wear contacts again that would be nice.  At least my eye issue hasn't gotten worse.

This idiot didn't look earlier enough to see the moon.  I usually can and was surprised not to find it.  The evening was clear enough.  Those of you who did see the "pink" moon.  What time was it?

But first....isn't it the case that wearing masks doesn't help the wearer it only helps protect others from the wearer?  That's what they've said from the beginning.  I think people have the idea they will be safe if they wear a mask, when it's my understanding your chances may go up if you aren't putting on and taking off your mask without touching your face or at least washing your hands first.

Yes.  The real push to convince people to wear the mask is so that we do not share the virus if we unknowingly have it.  I do think that if we wear the mask correctly it does offer some protection.  I used a sanitizer wipe on mine before taking it off, just in case droplets were on it.

I can see better at night these days. There’s a lot less ambient light.

Great lyric of the morning, courtesy Ira.

The girls are delightful,
Their sweaters are quite full.

White Kitty from across the street came to visit last night while I was watching the full moon.

THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE GLIMMER OF THE MOON
THAT ALWAYS PUTS TWO LOVING HEARTS IN TUNE,
AND THE LAD WHO FEARS TO SAY
THAT HE LOVES YOU IN THE DAY
IN THE MOONLIGHT IS INCLINED TO TELL YOU SOON.
SO TOGETHER IN THE MOONLIGHT STROLL ABOUT,
IT WILL SURELY PUT HIS BASHFULNESS TO ROUT.
ERE THE RAMBLE YOU COMPLETE,
YOU WILL FIND HIM AT YOUR FEET,
THAT IS HOW I THINK THE MOON WILL HELP YOU OUT.

All is good with Babes in Toyland for now.  I am having issues about no workspace here for all the editing, but my supervising editor says not to worry about it for now.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  We ventured out this morning to pick up this week's Kroger order.  On the way we dropped some mail at the drive-up mail box at the post office and proceeded to Central Pastry for the order I'd phoned in yesterday (as they recommend on their social media).  There were 2 customers ahead of me who had not phoned in and were hemming and hawing about what they wanted and not paying attention to the x's on the floor.  One of them had 2 little girls with her who were EVERYWHERE and touching EVERYTHING.  My order was ready and I got out of there as fast as I could.

At our Kroger they've increased the slots for curbside pick-up, but we still had to wait for a space and then wait quite a while once we'd phoned in.  The problem there, apparently, was short-staffing.  It went pretty smoothly and we got almost everything I'd ordered.  I can make my own icing for cookies and we probably don't need the chips anyway.  We are set until next week.
