The Cheesecake Factory thanked me for my five-star review of their take-out service.

Of course, I could do Door Dash from there and get what I never get - cheesecake.

I agree with you about driving. I see no problem with it at all. As much as I support social distancing, I feel that some officials have completely lost sight of mental health issues. Most people don't do well cooped up for long periods--kids, especially. It's important to get outside and get fresh air. I'd like to see the parks and beaches reopened. I don't think that was necessary as long as people distance. I don't mean crowded beaches--I mean one or two people.

Jerry's Deli has a HUGE open sign outside.  Never cars in their lot, though, which means people are not doing take out from there.

But they may have seen the sign while driving by, then ordered delivery.

Okay, I'm bad - I've just put two slices of cheesecake in my cart at Door Dash - the plan would be one tonight and one tomorrow.  I think maybe I, I think maybe I might, I think maybe I just will.

DR Ginny, I enjoyed seeing your photo of Fr Richard. With the obligatory bookcase in the background. Your display looked very attractive.

Dinner is a bunch of stuff from the fridge tonight. Slices of cheese and ham, some pickles, olives, radishes.

Love Mahagonny.

I do, too. I haven't seen this production, directed by the questionable John Doyle. I remember watching the Met's production with Teresa Stratas when I was in high school. I'd love to see that again.

It's 5:20.  Perhaps I should drive over to Rite Aid to rite the wrong of no ice cream or sweet.

Lots of cars out today.  It's fine if they're just taking a drive.  I've read some things on Facebook saying that taking a drive is ridiculous and everyone should stay at home.  I don't happen to think getting in your car for a ten or twenty minute drive is dangerous, since it's YOUR car and, in my case and most of the cases I see outside, I am alone in the car.  What harm could that possibly do anyone anywhere?  I'm happy to hear explanations.

The only thing I can think of is to reduce the chance of a car accident or a breakdown.  I understand not taking long drives to avoid a public bathroom.

I don't understand why more restaurants aren't displaying big signs saying that they're open. A few are, and that really helps. You see them as you drive by. Many business owners are terrible about updating their websites. From some websites you'd have no idea that anything has changed. Louise's Trattoria, on the other hand, is sending out emails about their deals, which are often 2-for-1. I imagine they've had a lot of takers.

It is shocking that restaurants don't have some kind of sign out.

Door Dash doesn't deliver from Rite Aid :)

Door Dash supposedly delivers from Baskin Robbins but I don't really need $15 worth of ice cream.

I looked at Door Dash, but none of the desserts there spoke to me.  I did check out Baskin Robbins, but frankly I don't love their flavors enough.

I think they have the best chocolate ice cream.

Back to LA Now and Then.

I really liked it!  The wrestling scene was fun!  The songs were great, the scenes were good.  I loved Robert Yacko's "gay" song near the end of the show.  It was definitely worth watching!

Right now, I'm at work, just finishing up what I can do today.  I got some invoicing done, but not as much as I would've liked, but I'll come back in tomorrow and Friday.

Next week, I'll come in to do the reports for the Finance Department so that the checks can be printed and sent out.  This all gives me something to do instead of lazing around my house and just thinking about not cleaning. ;)
