And now that I'm operational again (well, somewhat), I need to make a couple of other things for people and get them sent out as well.

DR TCB I am glad your vet made sure you didn't have additional charges. There are medications to prevent constipation. If this is a side effect of the meds Nicky is getting I suggest you talk to the doctor about a preventative treatment. We went through this with Bogie and trips to the vet for enema's were upsetting.

When the boss handed out our paychecks today he mentioned that they paid us for this past Monday, when we were closed for cleaning. Additionally we each received 5 hours of overtime pay...at time + 1/2 for working during the pandemic. He said that extra pay will continue through the shutdown period.

In other news, it was only yesterday, I think, that BK talked about watching a movie called FIVE.

Well, this is today, and what do I find while browsing what's on my DVR, but.... a movie called FIVE.

And sure enough, it's the Arch Oboler. I barely remember checking the TCM guide and setting it to be recorded. Well, now I will watch it for my first time. It will make a fine warmup to watching HOTEL this evening.

Mary Tyler Moore isn't preggo in the movie - she's hiding the Toucan and pretending. They spend half the movie TRYING to infect the population of NY by NOT wearing masks. As I said, rather mind-boggling in light of now.

My sister Linda just called. Dad’s younger brother, James, has died. He, too, had dementia and who knows what else. The service is tentatively set for September. My sister thinks I ought to be able to make that. I laughed at her. Gently.

Shouldn't he be doing direct deposit during this time? I cannot imagine going to the bank or bank machine right now.

I remember What's So Bad About Feeling Good. I saw it on tv, can't tell you when. I remember the toucan and the song, and Mary Tyer Moore and George Peppard, but not much about the plot. I wonder if it's available on Netflix, or Prime or any of those
